Losing a chance for a 2nd child because of Chickenpox

I was running through some old stuffs earlier looking for a certain file when I suddenly saw my old ultrasound result.. (Warning:Reminisce mode)

It was july 2011 when I found out that I was pregnant with our should have been 2nd child. It was actually a fruitful year for our neighborhood. Months after,  each one neighbor got pregnant. We were all happy knowing that our kids will be of same age..

But unfortunately, I caught a chickenpox and lost the baby.

I still remember how I've cried so hard when the first chickenpox spot appear. For I know the complications that this illness can cause to the baby. Just two days of spots and fever, blood started to appear while I pee. The pain of slowly losing it was unbearable. I was angry to everyone that time. I blame chickenpox, I blame my sister in law who brought the illness at home, I blame everyone...

I immediately went to my OB asking for a medicine that would help hold the baby. Obviously, I was in denial.. After the ultrasound, my OB confirmed my fear. She was  sorry but my baby is already dead.

I cried hard. Really hard..

Its been more than a year but the pain is still there somehow.. My ovaries are not normal so its very unlikely for me to get pregnant. That's why losing the 2nd was really hard for me. Luckily, I was the only pregnant who was infected with chickenpox. Other mommies here had successfully delivered the precious gems.

But well, thats how life is. We cannot lose hope because of some sad incidents.. I still pray for another chance. We can always try again. I even asked the help of my OB regarding  this..

I thank God because He has already entrusted me with one beautiful and very brilliant daughter. In His time, if he decides to give me another one, I will be very grateful and careful .

So if you are pregnant and someone in your house has chickenpox, I would advise you to move out immediately.  It is just temporary. Its better to be careful than sorry.

Chicken Pox Scar Treatment

How To Fade Chicken Pox Scars?

I don't know either. But from the forums and the blogs and experiences of friends, here's what I have been doing.
I'm on my third week only. Hope by the end of the month, my face would return to normal (I wish wish wish)

Here's the first solution. Suggested by my pretty sister Carol. CONTRACTUBEX

After using it for more than a week, napansin ko naman na pumapantay ang mga pox scars ko. At least kahit malalaki, pantay naman at di malalalim. Pero maiitim pa din :(

From the femalenetwork forum naman nabasa ko tong next solution: DERMATIX
Para sa mga malalaking keloids, effective to. But for now I cant see the effect yet kasi nga pantay na mga scars ko. But after 1 tube of contractubex, I think its time naman to try Dermatix. So far it lightens other spots..

Another solution for my body spots na nabasa ko sa forum everywhere. tadaaa!! KOJIC ACID SOAP. Magandang gamitin for the face and body dahil ang effect ng kojic soap ay skin peeling at whitening!!

Magastos magpaganda. Mumurahin lang tong mga gamit ko. For sure mas mahal pa pag sa derma.

DIAMOND PEEL!!!

Diamond peel! diamond peel!

Pregnant no more

Chicken Pox and Pregnancy

The first time I found out that my sister in law had chicken pox, I immediately sent her to a relative. Because I'm aware of the effects of the chicken pox in a pregnant woman. Main complication is blindness or retardation. My OB even confirmed it.

I was on my 2nd month of pregnancy. I am excited having a baby again after four years.
But after a week, my sis-in-law returned home. Claiming that shes no longer ill and healed already.
I still kept my distance but since were living in a very small house, sadly I got infected by the chicken pox too.

2 days and nights of high fever, spotting started. I went to my OB for a medicine that I could take to ensure that my baby stays.
But I was late. Spotting continues. My baby was dead already. I lost the child.
On that night i was scheduled for a D and C (Dilation and Curettage) procedure. Its all over. Pregnancy days are over.

July 22, 2011. I am officially no longer pregnant.

Did I cry? Yes!! Lots.
I just think that God may have allowed me to lose the child to protect us all from further pain so that I can move on.
I still think that If I have been more careful, I might still have the baby.

Lesson learned: Don't ever go near a chicken pox infected person if your pregnant and never had one. Save your baby.

And since pregnant women has a lower immune system, the dots started appearing all over my face.Leaving no space.

I guess they're the least of my worries now. Getting rid of these spots.

Magic Shop, one of my favorite BTS song

A lot of people won't understand the ARMY but I believe each one has their story that made BTS captured their hearts. At some point in A...
