I have fallen in love With the same woman three times

I Have Fallen In Love

Lyrics by Ninoy Aquino
Music by Jose Mari Chan

I have fallen in love
With the same woman three times
In a day spanning nineteen years
Of tearful joys and joyful tears.

I loved her first when she was young
Enchanting and vibrant, eternally new
She was brilliant, fragrant and cool
As the morning dew.

I fell in love with her the second time
When first she bore her child and mine
Always by my side, the source of my strength
Helping to turn the tide.

But there were candles to burn
The world was my concern
While our home was her domain
And the people were mine
While the children were hers to maintain.

So it was in those eighteen years and a day
Till I was detained
Forced in prison to stay.

Suddenly she’s our sole support
Source of comfort
Our wellspring of hope
On her shoulders fell the burden of life.

I fell in love again
With the same woman the third time
Looming from the battle
Her courage will never fade.

Amidst the hardships she has remained
Undaunted and unafraid
She is calm, composed
She is God’s lovely maid.

Hmmm Cheesy!

A FRIEND IN NEED

My friend's baby girl is suffering from ILD. Interstitial Lung Disease.

At first I don't understand the disease. All I know is that its not a simple one.
My friend later explained to me that the baby girl's lungs tend to trap the carbon dioxide whenever she breaths.
Realizing the seriousness of it, I felt afraid. Its a very serious illness! Considering that the baby girl is just a year and 3 months old. ( A little same as with my baby girl who is going to be 2y/o in July)

They are at the Childrens Hospital since Feb 2 till now. All their savings are used up. He even ask for help from some institutions like DSWD, GMA kapuso foundation, Kabayan Noli de Castro, PCSO, but still the financial help is not sufficient.

Its so hard for parents to see their kids suffer. The baby breaths in her mouth and is fed through her nose. My hearts are torn too as I saw her in video. So young and so little.. and struggling. She is about to undergo a lung biopsy.

Jimmy is a hardworking person. But though he works in the morning and drives at noon and do some extra sidelines for the financial aid, the bill just keeps on bloating.
I know that inspite of financial crisis that were facing, we still can extend something to help someone who is really in need.

To our classmates, we all know how good a friend jimmy was. Lets help him.
Contact me and I will give you his number.
It would give courage to the parents knowing that they have us to support them and pray for them.

Thank you. I hope your hearts are touched as much a mine.

I ask for your prayers. Lets help them pray.

Yesterday

Yesterday,
All those backups seemed a waste of pay.
Now my database has gone away.
Oh I believe in yesterday.
Suddenly,
There's not half the files there used to be,
And there's a milestone hanging over me
The system crashed so suddenly.
I pushed something wrong
What it was I could not say.
Now all my data's gone
and I long for yesterday-ay-ay-ay.
Yesterday,
The need for backups seemed so far away.
I knew my data was all here to stay,
Now I believe in yesterday

----------
hehehe funny but true. Wilfred sent it to me yesterday. I thought I'd share.

year-end report

as the year ends, we cant help but look back and review the happenings for the year.
We smile as we remember the happy days. We're touch by the blessings that we have received. We're grateful for everything.

And then we also remember pain. Our disappointments. the sad moments...
before we delve in more with the sad thoughts, lets stop right now. Or we will cry again.

Those sad things that happened to us had been there for a reason. Maybe its better to think about the lessons it taught us. And grow from there.

I'm a person of review. I always remember things. Especially when it involved feelings. But as i move on with my life, one thing I've learned and really trying hard to master is forgetting.

Forgetting what lies behind but straining forward to what lies ahead.
I'm excited on what the future holds for me. How about you?

A BLESSED NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

SI KIKO O SI MARLON?

Survivor Philippines. 9 castaways. Tribal council.

I think on all of the Survivor philippines tribal council, this is the most controversial and exciting. WIT vs PERSONALITY.
Who would win? You can't just expeculate.
This is Survivor. You dont know what is on each castaway's mind.

Just as when Paulo was about to announce the name of the next castaway to leave the island, they ended the show. Audience need to wait for the next Telecest day to find out who's name appears on that piece of paper.

TV station do that to increase their audience anticipation. To gather more audience for the next episode. But personally that disappoints me. Well its their strategy. We audience just have to live with it. That is if we still want to watch the show....

Tears of a Woman

"Mom Why are you crying?"
"Why are you crying?" he asked his mom.
"Because I'm a woman" she told him.
"I don't understand," he said.
His mom just hugged him and said, "and you never
will"..

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does
mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason," was all
his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man,
still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to GOD; when GOD got on the
phone the man said, "GOD, why do women cry so
easily?"

GOD said...
When I made women she had to be special. I made her
shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the
world; yet, gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and
the rejection that many times comes from her
children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going
when everyone else gives up and take care of her
family through sickness and fatigue without
complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under
any and all circumstances, even when her child has
hurt them very badly.

This same sensitivity helps her to make a child's
boo-boo feel better and shares in their teenagers
anxieties and fears....

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his
faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his
heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never
hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and
her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

I gave her a tear to shed, It's hers exclusively to
use whenever it is needed. It's her only
weakness....It's a tear for mankind..
