7th Knowledge Exchange Conference for Community eCenters

This event is participated by more than thousands of CeC members and
representatives from different gov't agencies and was held at Hotel Elizabeth, Baguio City.

CeCs around the philippines are actively providing eservices to rural areas. They put up internet cafes where people can go and try using the internet. They provide digital literacy trainings, printing services, others provide online jobs to its constituents and a lot more services directed to their respective communities.

I'd like to commend the telecentre.org and NCC and other sponsors for bringing this brilliant idea to realization.

Also, I'd like to commend
the CeCs (its managers and staffs) for working hard in bringing the technology to the marginalized sector. Together with their supportive mayors who actively participates in this advocacy, this program has become a very important and valuable contribution to our society.

I am not a member of any CeC. But seeing how this unit is affecting and changing the lives of many people, this is an advocacy worth investing.

Let us help them in reaching the 10,000 target for the Digital Literacy Program for Women campaign. Be a volunteer IT trainer now. Visit the philcecnet.ph
website for more details.
