Installing GEOSERVER on MAC OSX

Download your preferred GEOSERVER installer here.


Double click on the .dmg file to start the installer.

Drag the GeoServer icon to the Applications folder.

Launch the Geoserver. On your applications folder, and double click on the GeoServer icon.

   To START the server, click on the server menu and click START. The console window will show GeoServer’s logs. Once GeoServer is completely started, open the URL http://localhost:8080/geoserver at your browser.
